The Runner's Apothecary is Rebranding!

When I first started TRA, I wanted to align our brand values and aesthetics to other fitness brands. I chose a sporty neon green, with a flower thrown in for good measure. Over time though, I’ve come to realize TRA needs its own identity for the work we want to do in the world:

The Runner's Apothecary encourages athletes of all laces, paces, and faces to ritualize recovery in movement and in life. We are a runner’s recovery club for everyone. We find joy in movement, play with plants, and prioritize collective care.

In a world that is constantly moving, where we focus on the next goal without celebrating the last, it is easy to push ourselves too hard. At work. In movement. In life. 

While we celebrate everyone’s PBs, weekly mileage, and goals, whatever they may be, we want to offer something different. We offer a place to rest. A place to play and find joy. A place without the pressure to perform or compete. 

So this rebrand is a nod to that. An antidote to the culture of overwork. You’ll see bright colors, fun graphics, and cute avatars. The light-heartedness is on purpose. 

We invite you to join us in building a community and a world where rest is not antithetical to the sport we love but critical to progress and moving ahead. 

For in our work lives and in our movement practices, we often focus on performance and productivity without making space and time for recovery. But just like the seasons, we must acknowledge that there is no harvest without rest. Join us!
